Pigs Fly Pilsner Launched

After a thirsty journey the Pigs Fly Pilsner has finally landed. We have doubled the hops and added a beaut UV filter to the label allowing the discerning punter to recognise his beverage by feel alone. Our Pilsner is a dryer lighter style beer well suited to the Australian taste. Barry at the beer show claimed it was the best brew he had ever drunk, so we are confident you'll love it too. Get down to your local and grab some!

Australian Beer Festival '08

The official launching pad for the new Pigs Fly Pilsner, the Australian Beer Festival again flew the Pigs Fly flag. Positioned just outside the pub, the Bowral Brewing Company stand was a favourite with the punters as they admired our giant mexicain bottles and were served quality beverages by the owners of the company - no promo girls here!! Just quality blokes and Pigs Fly Pale Ale...

McIntosh and Bowman Cheese Mongers

Beer and Cheese? What a combo! Pigs Fly has teamed up with cheesemongers McIntosh and Bowman on many occasions throughout the year to provide quality tasting experiences for fans of flavour. We are proud to work with one of the most highly regarded cheese mongers in the country and match with the flavours of our Pigs Fly Pale Ale.

Sydney Children's Hospital - An Amber Affair '08

Pigs Fly was proud to support the Sydney Children's Hospital An Amber Affair in August to raise money and awareness for the work done at the hospital. It was a fantastic night of craft beer appreciation and generous support by all who attended for the outstanding services provided by the Sydney Children's Hospital.

Silver - Sydney Royal Fine Food Show 2008

The mere mention of the Sydney Royal Easter Show brings back many fond memories... becoming hopelessly entangled with some idiot kid and his Mum on the dodgem cars... giggling at the unfeasibly large testicles on the bulls in the Grand Parade... banging your little sister over the head with one of those giant inflatable baseball bats from your showbag... wondering what made you think a Dagwood Dog was a good thing to eat.

But for us the Sydney Royal is about beer, because it's when the Sydney Royal Beer Show is held. The Sydney Royal Beer Show is one of Australia's most prestigious beer competitions and this year, Pigs Fly Pale Ale caught the eye of judges. So enthralled were they with its flavoursome deliciousness that they awarded Pigs Fly Pale Ale a Silver Medal in the Pale & Golden Ale Class.

Now even though we have no idea who they are, these judges are quite clearly top Aussies who obviously know quality beers when they taste them. So put them to the test and give Pigs Fly Pale Ale a try yourself.
